Pool Terms of Service

1. Platform Purpose

• Chikoh is a scoring and league-management software platform only.
• Chikoh does not process payments, hold funds, or run wagering of any kind.
• Chikoh provides tools for organizing competitions, tracking predictions, computing points, standings, and messaging participants.

2. Prizes and Payments

• All entry fees (if any) and prizes are managed entirely off-platform by the pool host/commissioner.
• Chikoh does not collect, escrow, transfer, or disburse prize funds.
• Any payment arrangements are private agreements between participants and the host/commissioner.
• Chikoh charges subscription fees for access to software features; Chikoh does not take a percentage of pool funds.

3. Eligibility and Age Requirement

• Users must be 18 years of age or older to create or participate in pools.
• By creating a pool, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

4. Jurisdiction and Legal Compliance

• You are solely responsible for ensuring your pool complies with all applicable local, state, provincial, national, and international laws and regulations.
• Where features such as prize distribution or entry fees are restricted in your jurisdiction, you must not enable those features.
• Chikoh may hide or block restricted features server-side based on jurisdictional rules and reserves the right to disable any pool that violates applicable law.

5. Host/Commissioner Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate rules, scoring, important dates, and prize details (if any) to participants off-platform.
• Handle all payments and prize disbursements off-platform in compliance with applicable law.
• Resolve disputes fairly and transparently; Chikoh is not a party to participant disputes.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• No wagering, betting, or gambling operated through Chikoh.
• No using Chikoh to solicit payments for illegal contests.
• No misrepresenting endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with TV networks or rights holders.

7. Disclaimers

• Chikoh provides software on an “as is” basis without warranties.
• Chikoh is not responsible for off-platform payments, prizes, or any financial arrangements.
• Participation in competitions involves risk; do not spend more than you can afford to lose.

8. Changes

We may update these Pool Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
